Next Monday, at 7:00 p.m. PST, Apple will hold a keynote (to follow by our side). During this one, the Californian firm should revealseveral products, including a new range of iPhones, the iPhone 16, but also new Apple Watches and perhaps even new AirPods. In any case, we hope to be surprised by the announcements, which, so far and according to the latest rumors, seem very juicy to us. These are precisely, in our opinion, 3 reasons which lead us to think that this back-to-school Apple Event could bemore than memorable.
1. Apple Intelligence: AI at Apple, finally
If you missed the previous episode, let's keep it simple:Apple Intelligence est l’I.A. d’Apple. It was presented by Tim Cook during WWDC in June 2024. It is a sort of Siri version 2.0, using the latest findings in terms of generative intelligence algorithms, language models and machine learning.
Apple Intelligence holds great promise. Above all, it is the American company's expected entry into the world of AI, while many of its competitors have been engulfed in it since the beginning of this year.
And given the Keynote announcement image (using the colors of Apple Intelligence), the new product should play one of the leading roles on Monday evening. This will notably be an opportunity to see it in action on the iPhone 16, which should really be designed for it. And then,we are still waitinginformation regarding hisarrival in Europe. Perhaps we will also be entitled to an announcement on this subject.

2. 10 years of the Apple Watch
This year, the Apple Watch celebrates its tenth anniversary. The first model, named Series 0, was in fact released on September 9, 2014. The upcoming Keynote will therefore take place 10 years later, to the day. And it is rumored that to mark the occasion, the Cupertino company could release a new Watch very different from the Series 9, released in 2023. For the moment unfortunately, rumors on this subject remain few in number. We can count on health improvements mainly, with the addition ofblood pressure measurementand thesleep apnea detectionin particular, as well asdesign improvements(thinner case, larger screen, new magnetic attachment system for the bracelet). Furthermore, Mark Gurman believes that technologymicroLEDwould be appropriate to improve the display quality of the screen. Finally, monitoring blood glucose levels is a long-awaited new feature on Apple Watch, although at this stage there is no indication that it will be for this year.

3. AirPods 4: 2 models, with ANC and AI
It wouldn't just be for iPhones and watches during the Keynote. AirPods should also play the leading roles. Indeed, it has been predicted that two new pairs of headphones are set to be revealed on Monday. It would be abouttwo models of AirPods 4, taking advantage of great advances such as active noise cancellation and artificial intelligence. We also hope that they will finally integrate health-related features, such as measuring body temperature. But on this subject, analysts were cautious, advising to wait for the next AirPods Pro 3 instead. But they say that hope gives life, so…

Besides, we wouldn't say there are new colored finishes for the AirPods either, what would you say?
