Samsung reportedly fixes Galaxy Fold issues

Two months ago, Samsung postponed the launch of its first flexible smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, following tests by journalists who encountered several problems with this new type of smartphone.

Samsung's big boss, DJ Koh,apologized this weekfor releasing this product too quickly, before it was completely finished. He then stated that more than 2000 devices were tested, in all possible scenarios.

According to a new report from Bloomberg, the Galaxy Fold has completed the new smartphone design. This would correct the problems with the flexible screen, which journalists encountered with the first models.

According to Bloomberg's sources, Samsung would have lengthened the protective film, so that it surrounds the entire smartphone and is less easy to remove. The first testers had removed the latter, thinking that it was a simple protective film to remove after unpacking. However, the latter is necessary for the proper functioning of the screen.

Samsung has also revised the design of the Galaxy Fold's hinge, making it more robust and flexible than before.

Although it seems that the Galaxy Fold is ready for a second round of testing with journalists and other influencers, the Korean firm has not yet communicated a marketing date.
