5G: Free brings out the heavy artillery with a 250 GB package

  • Free's 5G plan with 210 GB of mobile data increases to 250 GB
  • The price, however, does not increase and remains limited to 19.99 euros per month
  • The Free Ligue 1 app is included (premium version)

Free has just increased the volume of mobile data byits 5G package, which goes from 210 GB to 250 GB. Allow 19.99 euros per month for customers who are not already subscribed to Freebox, a Wi-Fi offer from the same service provider. Otherwise, with a Freebox Pop, the price drops to 9.99 euros per month. Knowing that both prices are non-binding: it is therefore possible to cancel at any time and without associated costs.

I take advantage of the offer

Among the advantages of this subscription, we find unlimited calls, SMS and even MMS. With this, from abroad, users can spend no less than 35 GB of mobile data in 4G in a hundred different destinations. Not just the European Union or the overseas departments, therefore, which is reminiscent of the Summer Edition package from Bouygues Télécom (B&You) with similar advantages. An advantage to also be compared withother current mobile plans.

Football is offered as a bonus

Those who choose this 250 GB offer also have access to the Free Ligue 1 app and its premium catalog, which notably allows you to benefit from match summaries in the eponymous championship. Amazon Prime Video also broadcasts certain matches, at an additional cost to that of its basic package.

Of course, if 5G is not available (and this is still the case in many regions of mainland France), then Free's 250 GB package will upgrade to 4G. Today, we know that all iPhone 14 models are compatible with the new standard, but also iPhone 12, iPhone 13 andthe third generation iPhone SE.

No price change!

The nice surprise of this announcement, and you may have noticed it if you are already a customer, is that the price of the 5G offer has not increased. It was thus already set at 19.99 euros per month when the envelope was limited to 210 GB.

A good thing, especially when we know thatat B&You, the trend is on the contrary upwards.
