Nuance buys Vlingo and prepares a Siri like

urges the takeover of the Vlingo company.

This acquisition should make it possible to create, in the future, aSirilike which could be worn on any
machine :

Vlingo already offers on the App Storean application presented as being able to
bring functionalities close to those of Siri. However, the language
French is not included in the iOS version.

This merger of the two companies could thereforegive rise to the
creation of technology equivalent to Siriintegrating well
obviously the voice dictation dear to Nuance.

After admitting to being inspired by the launch of Siri by Apple, the
two companies specializing in voice recognition will therefore combine
their efforts with the aim of soon offering something equivalent
to the assistant offered by Apple.

At the moment, there is work to be done since there is still
quite a few gaps to fill. LThe Vlingo app is missing,
she, precision in recognizing instructions when Nuance,
specialist in dictation and voice search only allows a tiny
part of what Siri offers.

Even combined,the two companies are not yet capable of
propose an interaction of the level that one can have with
Siri. But it is certain that this rapprochement is likely to accelerate
things.

The future will tell us how Apple will succeed or not in maintaining its length
in advance.
