Getting used to Siri is fun, but you may have
noticed that when it comes to calling or sending messages to
contacts who are not called Jean Dupont it's not always that simple
than it seems.
Inour series of iOS 5 and iPhone 4S tutorials
already with 15 tickets to find here, so here is the solution so that
your assistant, Siri, can manage your contacts whatever their name.
The answer?Set the name phonetically. You don't know
how to do it? No problem, it's explained in the rest of the
billet:
- Go to the contact card that is causing problems with Siri
- Then tap edit at the top left
- Scroll down to “add field”
- You should then see two sections: “phonetic last name”
and “phonetic first name”. fill them in by writing as you pronounce the name
or first name - Finally click on OK
- Try again with Siri, the assistant will now recognize and
pronounce the names correctly.
Have you tried, does it work better?
