It's been almost 6 months since Free launched
in the mobile market. Since then, historical operators have competed to
new packages to try to counter the newcomer.
This morning it was Orange's turn to present its new Origami packages
and to announce an average price drop of around 20%. and the arrival of
new services like H +, a 42 Mb/s network accessible to half of the
territory :
Orange had anticipated the arrival of Free with Sosh its low cost offer
available only on the internet. Proof of the success of this new brand,
Orange announced this morning that 350,000 people have already chosen Sosh. For
information at the end of the first quarter Sosh customers were 200
000.
For its part, Origami has 4.5 million customers. Orange says
moreover that these so-called classic offers still represent 85% of the market
current. They are generally sold with a subsidized telephone and a
two-year commitment. Origami will now be available in3 big
offers:
- Origami Zenfor entry-level offers and which
includes unlimited SMS and MMS and also unlimited shared. For example a
one hour package will cost €24.90 per month.
- Origami Staroffers unlimited SMS and MMS, unlimited
shared, a Deezer Premium subscription and 30 TV channels. The 2h + 500 package
Mo will then cost €29.90 per month.
- Origami Premiumoffers packages for the most
demanding. The three offers include SMS, MMS, shared unlimited, a
Deezer Premium subscription, 70 TV channels and the Smartphone Pack which allows
to renew your terminal every year.
All packages will be available from June 7. In

Overall, a price drop is always welcome, but with
