Ming-Chi Kuorecently statedIn
a research note, that the facial recognition system of the iPhone
was complicated to manufacture, which slowed down the production of the new
smartphone phare d’Apple.
New report from analyst Jeff Pu corroborates Ming-Chi Kuo's claims
regarding production issues with the iPhone X's 3D camera. He believes
has12 millionsthe number of units available on the day of
launch, namely on November 3.
According to the investigation carried out by Pu, Foxconn would assemble around 2 million
of iPhone X in September, then 10 million additional units for
the month of October to reach a figure of around 40 million at the end of
the year.
For his part, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that demand for the iPhone
be very strong with an advanced figure of50 million units for
pre-orders, these 12 million would therefore be quite insufficient to
satisfy everyone from the first hour.
We have recently been able to observe in oursurvey
among iPhon.fr readers, that the majority of users with
purchasing intention are skipping the iPhone 8 and prefer to wait for the release
of the iPhone
You will certainly have to order within the first minutes (seconds?) of
the opening of pre-orders for the iPhone
get your hands on the model of your choice, without having to wait afterwards
probably several weeks.
And this iPhone X scarcity is likely to continue for months
which follow, until the beginning of 2018, provided that Apple manages to increase the
production capacity of this new anniversary edition model with
facial recognition.
