Launched in the summer of 2016, the Pokémon GO game quickly became a global phenomenon that filled the streets and parks of many cities around the world. Even though the game no longer has as many players as in the beginning, it is still very popular.
The publisher Niantic had mentioned at the beginning of the game, a functionality of battles between players. This feature has been a long time coming and should be added very soonin a Pokémon GO update. Here ishow battles between trainers or PvP work!
To initiate a fight with another trainer, the latter must beclose to youand it is necessary to usea combat code. The latter is similar to a QR code to be scanned by the other player.
It is possible tochallenge another player remotely, without being geographically close to him. This one mustbe part of your friends list.
For a battle between two trainers, each player must select,a team of three Pokémon. At the end of each fight, both trainers receive rewards, including a chance to winrare evolution items.
So that the fights are not unbalanced, both trainers must be part ofthe same Trainer Combat League. There are several levels of Battle League, in order to limit the strength or PC of the participating Pokémon as much as possible and maintain fairness on the field.
The fights take placein real time, so the player does not have to wait for his turn. Selected Pokémon can use theirimmediate and charged attacks.
During combat, there is also a new game mechanic, theprotective shield, must be triggered at the right time to protect the Pokémon from important debates.
However, the trainer is only entitled toa limited number of these shields, after which his Pokémon will be defenseless.
Finally, we can mentionTeam Leaders Spark, Candela and Blanche, which allows you to improve your combat skills. It is also possible toearn rewards once a day, by training with a team leader.
Are you looking forward to facing other trainers?
