After pre-ordering a new iPhone via the various online storeslisted here in this article, the question arises of the hull to adopt. Indeed, with its glass front and back, the new iPhones are quite fragile, and repairs are rather expensive.
It is therefore recommended to adopt a protective shell. But given the identical design between the iPhone X and the iPhone XS, the question arises:is it possible to use an old iPhone X case for the new model?
As we can see on the Apple website which displays the dimensions of the iPhone X and iPhone XS. The two models have a difference of 3 grams in terms of weight, but exactlythe same dimensions.
Both the iPhone X and iPhone XS measure,143.6 mm in height, 70.9 mm in width, and 7.7 mm in thickness. The placement of the camera module also appearsin the same placeon both models.
This means that it is undoubtedlypossible to use old iPhone X cases and protectors for the iPhone XS.
It will nevertheless be necessary to confirm precisely that everything remains well adjusted for the hulls and protections which have avery adjusted opening at the level of the photo cells, as well as those which cover the lower part (for the sound and microphone output). But it is very likely that it will match without any real problem.
