A 2nd iPhone app allows you to manage Bluetooth: App Store validation error or deliberate intention?

iOS 5 users
enjoyed discovering some time after its release the
possibility of creating "system" shortcuts in the form
of icons
. These made it possible in particular toturn on or off
more easily functions such as Bluetooth, WiFi or access to
further settings in one click
like that of luminosity (we
had spoken inour practical iOS section
5
), This possibility was unfortunately removed as of the update
nextiOS 5.1. But smart people have
took over with regard to starting and stopping the
Bluetooth
and this happens through applications.

So, an app released a few days ago reminded us ofa
Apple validation error
and that it would be removed quickly,
just like apps offering Tethering regularly are. But she
is still present and this morning a
new app released on the App Store
, it also offers
manage Bluetooth, without hiding since it only does that:

So, whileBluetooth Activate(ici
on the App Store
), released a few days ago, proposed as a function
main way to activate and deactivate Bluetooth without going through several
screens in Settings. But we thought she had managed to pass the
validation because itintegrated a “Bluetooth Chat” function, which
would have been the pretext for the main function
.

But its recently released competitor does not even take this precaution
and adds a "programming" functionality (or almost as we go
see), it was validated by Apple yesterday.

It's called "Bluetooth Manager" and
is available here at the price of 0.79 euros

The main page offers a switch, set it to 1 to activate the
Bluetooth, set to zero to stop it if it is running. Basic, obvious
!

But it offers an additional function which resembles a
programming without actually being one. So you can add what
looks like programming like: turn on Bluetooth at 8:00,
turn it off at 7 p.m., then turn it back on and turn it off at a certain time, for example.
But due to limitations of the Apple SDK,it does not charge
does not do this starting or stopping
, no, she
displays an alert on the home screenindicating that it is necessary
turn it on or off. Then, by sliding this alert, you access
the app and can turn the BT on or off with the switch seen
previously.

The "State" switch allows you to switch an alert from active to inactive,
would have preferred programming by day of the week:

The slider alert to access the app directly:

We tested it quickly and it seems to work.

Still, you have to want (the need) to turn the BT off and on
regularly rather than leaving it running (to save energy,
but no manipulation 😉 ). Personally, the BT is constantly running as well
it is available whenever I need it (for
the Type2phone app mainly seen here
)

And second question, will this type of app stay on the App Store?
The future will tell us...

Any readers interested in a solution of this type? Others
shortcuts that you would like to see in application form of this
type ?
