The Halide shooting app gains Siri shortcuts and loses weight

The catalog of shooting apps is very rich on the App Store with many different alternatives, however it is rare that a new app differentiates itself from existing apps and stands out from the crowd, yet this was the case with the appHalide, available here on the App Store.

Released in 2017, this app designed by a former Apple designer and a former Twitter engineer, offers a very well thought-out interface based on taps and swipes to reveal and use the different controls. It has just been updated including thesupport for Siri shortcuts.

It is now possible to usevoice commands via Siri shortcuts, to control the remote shooting app. For example, to launch selfie mode.

The size of the app has also beendivided by two, which can help users who have an iPhone with low storage capacity, or almost full storage.

The creators of Halide also updatedtheir new app, Spectre, available here on the App Store, which allows you to take pretty long exposure photos using artificial intelligence.

We can mention thecompatibility with older iPhone models(7, 6S and SE), aimproved shooting of light trails, as well as the resolution of the recorded video.
