Goodbye to the carousel?

In the fifth beta of iOS 18, which has just been deployed by Apple, we learn that the carousel disappears. This is the feature that brings a new personalized view of your photo library, by swiping your finger from the main view. Nobody knows if this measure is definitive or not on Apple's part.
