Apple brings iOS 12.4.9 and tvOS 8.4.3 to older iPhones and Apple TVs

A few hours ago, Apple released new updates to iOS and tvOS. These are 14.2 iterations, available for newer devices.

Old iPhones and iPads that cannot benefit from iOS 14 and the latest iteration can, however, fall back oniOS 12.4.9, new update offered by Apple. It only comes with security fixes and performance improvements, without major new features. But it shows that the Californian firm is keen to keep iOS devices up to date, even those from older generations, to prevent them from becoming too good targets for hackers.

Same for Apple TV and tvOS. While a new version 14.2 of the software has recently been available,as announced there, a new version8.4.3is offered to older Apple TV models that cannot benefit from the latest new features.
