During aconference organized in the middle of the nightfor the Paris time zone, Apple presented three new chips for its computers. First of all we find the M3, dedicated tonew eponymous iMacbut also to the most basic 14-inch MacBook Pro. With this, the M3 Pro and M3 Max are aimed at the most capable 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops.
In terms of raw power, Apple believes it has measured significant velocity gains. For Tim Cook's company, “CPU performance cores and energy-efficient cores are 30% and 50% faster, respectively, than M1 chips“. The count is good.
