Apple ready to help fight Chinese coronavirus

At the moment, the Chinese coronavirus is spreading in China, but also in other countries around the world. To avoid too great a spread of this virus which has already killed dozens of people, many countries have closed their border with China, while in other areas more geographically distant, exceptional health resources are put in place, in airports in particular.

Different organizations are also working against the coronavirus, in multiple ways, whether to inform populations, but also to improve the detection of patients and develop means of fighting infection.

And Apple wants to enter this battle against the Chinese coronavirus epidemic, as its CEO announced on Twitter. Tim Cook showed all his support for people impacted by this disease currently making headlines.

As people in China and around the world celebrate the Lunar New Year, we send our love and support to the many impacted by the Coronavirus. Apple will be donating to groups on the ground helping support all of those affected.

He added in his tweet that the Californian company will in the near future make various donations to people who, on the ground, give their energy and their time to help all the victims, whether those affected directly by infection, or residents of risk areas.
