Apple is considering using the Apple Watch socket for “smart” bracelets

Apple often obtains patents that
give an idea of the possible developments of the company's products, and it is
the case of a new patent filed by the Cupertino company which has just been
published on the website of the United States Patent Office.

This describes a system ofsmart bracelets for Apple
Watch
which communicate with the latter by connecting to the
diagnostic portalready present on the watch.

These bracelets could allowto extend the functionalities of
l’Apple Watch
by choosing bracelets adapted to your needs and
therefore offer apersonalization system.

Among the potential applications cited in this patent, there is described a
bracelet which can recharge the watch in order to increase its autonomy, another
with a display in addition to the Apple Watch screen, speakers,
blood pressure sensors, and many more.

This would also reduce the thickness of the Apple case
