Until now, only the United States, Canada, China and the Netherlands benefited from unique road safety features in Apple Maps. In these countries it has been possible for several months alreadyto be alerted in the event of an accident on your route, or even in the event of another road hazard. And in the same way as Waze for example, users have the possibility of sending a report of an accident or road incident, if they witness one.
Until now, European users could only use these practical functions in the Netherlands. But a few hours ago, the deployment of this new alert system on European soil reached a new stage. Indeed,Germany joined the club, which means that it is now possible to see accident alerts and other road incidents, or to alert other users, on any route taking advantage of the road network across the Rhine.

We hope for an upcoming deployment in other countries on the continent, including France. Knowing that these features were already present in beta versions of iOS and Apple Plans, without remaining included in the latest final versions of the system.
