Update September 19, 2023: since theiOS 17 released yesterday, the new iCloud+ 6 and 12 TB offers are available. See details at the end of the article.
Apple spoke yesterday in its usual back-to-school conference. During this keynote, the Cupertino company presented the iPhone 15, but also itsApple Watch Series 9, the first completely carbon neutral apple product. But today Apple is not just about physical products, the Cupertino company also offers software solutions.
This is particularly the case for iCloud+, which is one of the most popular online storage solutions in the world. In order to satisfy all users,Apple offers different offers for iCloud+. The least expensive ones start with 50 GB storage while the largest can reach 2 TB.
But Apple wants to think even bigger. The Apple brand has therefore just presented two new storage offers with even greater capacity. Thus it will be possible to put6 TB in the Cloudfrom the apple to the same12 To. Incredible solutions, which to date have no great competition (the offerGoogle Cloudis limited to 2 TB for individuals, for example).
An XXL offer for an XXL price
But Apple's proposal to store 6 or 12 TB of information in its servers necessarily has a cost. The apple brand offers subscriptions for these two services. The first, which corresponds to a 6 TB offer in the Cloud, will be billed€29.99 per month. If 6 TB is still not enough for you and you want to double your storage capacity, you will have to do the same with the price of the subscription. The 12 TB will thus be available against€59.99 per month.
Apple specifies that these offers can be used by families (using Family Sharing). This proposal can therefore be interesting for people who have a very large photo or video library. Other iCloud+ offers start at €0.99 for 50 GB. This is the service's most popular offer to date.
