While two Apple subcontractors,Catcher Technologyet
Quanta
both working on a reality headset/glasses project
increased, the Cupertino firm continues its shopping in the world of
startups.

Indeed, according to a new report from TechCrunch,Apple would have
bought the company Vrvana
for approximately30 million
dollars
. This Canadian startup specializing in augmented reality and
virtual is particularly known for havingcreated the reality helmet
augmented Totem
.

A number of Vrvana employees are said to have joined Apple's premises in
Cupertino to work on a secret project and certainly linked to reality
increased.

The Totem helmet designed by Vrvana differs from other solutions like the
Microsoft's Hololens, namely that it uses a camera to overlay
real color animations on top of the real world.

It is possible that the Cupertino company adapts this technology to its
own solution, of course this can change at any time in the phase of
prototyping.

After the arrival of ARKit with iOS 11, comments from Tim Cook on reality
repeatedly increased and rumors about Apple's subcontractors
working on augmented reality, here is another stone in the building than the
Cupertino firm is currently building.

At the same time, according to a recent report from the Bloomberg newspaper and some
analysts, Apple could present a pair of augmented reality glasses
by 2019 to 2020.
