A staggering contract
Indeed, according to a survey published this week,Applewould have stores that wish to benefit from the program sign a paper, containing very complicated clauses to respect without negatively impacting the business' activity. This would notably authorize impromptu inspections on the part of Cupertino, aimed at verifying that technicians are sticking to the specifications of the document.
And they are far from being lax: they must, for example, use very specific equipment to resolve the problems of pumped products, at the risk of being penalized by$1,000 finesif they do the opposite. And when we know that this type of establishment sometimes works with other smartphone brands, we can then imagine that it would only take an impromptu visit from an Apple executive to notice a “forbidden” tool.
Furthermore, customers with a damaged phone would also be required to sign a contract stating that the service provider is not affiliated with Apple and thatthe warranty expireswith his manipulations...
