Since the beginning ofreconfinement, more and more stores are being forced to close their doors in order to avoid spreading COVID-19. A request coming directly from the government, but which is still struggling to be implemented given the financial stakes for many small traders. Apple, for its part, complies with the rule.
Indeed, we now notice that the majority of the Apple brand's French stores have closed the curtain. Certain addresses are certainly still open, but their fate is not yet sealed. For the moment, the law still authorizes sellers of computers and mobile phones to operate: these are devices considered “essential” for the population and the economy.
An impact on the figures?
It is difficult to know whether the success ofiPhone 12, already measured by most analysts, will suffer from the activities stopped in France. However, it is entirely possible to expect minimal differences in turnover, given that everyone can now order on the official Apple website or on the Apple Store iOS app.
An alternative that could draw inspiration from the many entrepreneurs who are well established but fear quarantine. At the time ofShopify, Deliveroo or Amazon, this strategy is now accessible to everyone.
