The Apple Vision Pro is surely the most anticipated product of the year. Announced by Apple last June on the occasion of WWDC, the product has finally been put up for pre-order by Apple on its website. The apple brand will therefore experience the most stressful hours of its year in a very short time.
But when exactly will these pre-orders open? Who is affected? So many questions that we will try to answer in this article. Regarding the first point, the when, Apple has already given us the answer. Pre-orders will be open this Friday from 5 a.m. on the Pacific coast. It will therefore be 2 p.m. here in Paris during the very first sales in the history ofVision Pro d’Apple.
Who can buy an Apple Vision Pro?
If the purchase of an Apple Vision Pro will be possible this afternoon, the Apple website in its French version will not allow you to do so. Indeed, the Apple Vision Pro will initially only be marketed in the United States. Like the iPhone at the time, Apple chose to launch this mixed reality headset in a particular country, before turning internationally.
The Cupertino company has not given an explanation for this strategic choice but several analysts have suggested that Apple's production linesimply could not support global marketingwhich would have resulted in millions of sales.
What about France?
For us in France, we will therefore have to wait months, if not years, before seeing the Vision Pro arrive. Apple's mixed reality headset is expected to launch internationally one day, but Apple has given no date yet. Analysts, generally self-confident,remained very cautious on this issue.
An international launch does not, however, mean that the headset will arrive in France. Apple could very well decide to exclude France from the first countries concerned by the sale of the Vision Pro.
