Apple is completely redesigning its support system

Apple Support, it's over

Since October 1, the messaging system of the @AppleSupport account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) responds to your requests with an automatic message. The latter lists various links, directing to the “get support” page on the Apple website directly.

Apple had been providing support to its users on social media since 2016. Ifthe takeover last year of the social network by Elon Muskmay be a determining factor in the departure of Apple Support, this hypothesis has not been confirmed by the Cupertino company.

No job loss

According to information from MacRumors, the latter would have ended its support service on social networks without making any layoffs. In fact, all the people who worked in this service were offered a job in the telephone support group for users.

A change of position which would have been rather well received internally according to sources close to the matter. For its part, the Apple Support account on X should continue to give advice and tips to users. Regarding after-sales service, you will therefore have to go through Apple's telephone assistance.
