Apple is testing a new update of iOS: its outing is imminent

Are you one of those who install the latest iOS updates as soon as they are released? If this is the case, you are then probably under iOS 18.3, a version deployed by Apple on January 27 on the compatible iPhone, except on 11. Quickly after the release of iOS 18.3, users reported annoying bugs on a daily basis, including display problems. It seems that Apple has taken note of these returns, since the firm is already preparing a corrective update.

Corrective update approach

The Cupertino firm is currently testing iOS 18.3.1,as specified 9TO5MAC. This version should mainly focus on bug corrections and performance improvements, like iOS 18.2.1 released last month.

If you are one of the users affected by display problems, slowdowns or overheating under iOS 18.3, you should soon have a solution. Apple has not yet communicated a specific date for the deployment of this update, but it should not be long.

This intermediate update comes while IOS 18.4 is always long in coming. The next major version of iOS should bring a share of new features toApple Intelligence, in particular significant improvements for Siri, which currently offersdisappointing results.
