Watch Series 7 and AirPods 3: design changes above all?

In his weekend newsletter, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman not only talked about the iPhone 13,as seen there. He also mentioned the new features concerning two other products that we should see tomorrow evening during Apple's back-to-school keynote.

As he did for the new generation of iPhone, the Apple specialist actually specified the major new features that the new Apple watch and the new AirPods 3 headphones should present.

Apple Watch Series 7

For the next generation of Apple Watch, we should expectchanges more aesthetic than functional. Indeed, the watch case could display a new design, with more protruding edges, new bracelets and new adapted dials.

In terms of case size, a small increase would be on the agenda, with a move from 40 and 44 mm for the Apple Watch Series 6, to 41 and 45 mm for the Series 7, according to the source.

The screen would display a better resolution, 396*494 while a new chip would be there, probably called S7 and presenting a little more power than the one that equips the watch released last year.

In terms of health sensors, there's obviously nothing new to eat. Mark Gurman specifies that the new developments at this levelwill instead appear with next year's Series 8.

For the new headphones, according to the analyst, the main changes would bein terms of the size and shape of the charging case, and the design of the earpieces. These should display a design close to the AirPods Pro. However, predictions so far speak of a non-in-ear format. We would then be halfway between AirPods and AirPods Pro, visually speaking. We obviously hope for some improvements in terms of sound quality. But on this point, Mark Gurman did not say a word.

Ming-Chi Kuo also did not focus on audio improvements for the AirPods 3. But he provided significant clarification regarding their arrival. According to him,AirPods 3 will be announced tomorrow evening, alongside the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7.

The appointment is made.
