Arrived last year at the same time as iOS 6, Passbook is now
still relatively discreet. The application, however practical, has attracted
the favors of a few courageous developers who decided to integrate it and
to benefit from an interesting solution for users.

French companies that integrate Passbook and you will see that there are uses for
the least surprising, far from what one could expect at
departure :
Loyalty cards
If there is one function that seems obvious when talking about Passbook it is
that of loyalty cards. Obviously, the big brands of the
distribution have not missed this and some offer a
application allowing you to manage your card in the Apple app. No more need
to have the card in the wallet, simply hold out the iPhone to
benefit from its in-store advantages:

As long as we're talking about shopping, we might as well talk about good deals
who are not left out with Passbook. Since the app can access, with
your permission, at your location, it can also notify you
when a nearby store offers a good deal. Practical, right?

- Kinepolis: When reserving seats
cinema on the website of the Belgian company Kinepolis, you can choose
l’option Ticket Passbook.Once this option is chosen, a
second email will be sent with your tickets attached. Once at the cinema
for the scheduled session, you will receive a notification and all you have to do is
have the barcode of the Passbook coupon scanned. The lucky ones who have
a Kinépolis cinema near them can already benefit from it. Note that
the Kinepolis application is (for the moment) not Passbook compatible.
- Klout:Social media followers know
perhaps Klout which allows you to evaluate your influence score and which integrates
now Passbook to allow you to share and view your
score. Not essential, but fun.
