Next month, CES 2020 will begin, it is the high mass of consumer electronics. Each year, this show allows many brands to lift the veil on different new products, some of which are planned to be released during the year.
Apple has been absent from this major show since 1992, the year of Apple's last appearance at CES. But the Cupertino company has planned a discreet appearance to talk about privacy, at a round table with officials from different large tech companies.
During CES 2020, there will be a roundtable on the subject of privacy on January 7, with participants Jane Horvath, director of privacy protection at Apple.
Other participants will also include Erin Egan, head of privacy at Facebook, as well as executives from Procter & Gamble.
Officially Apple was not present at CES 2019, but unofficially behind the scenes of the show, Apple had invited the press to discover new HomeKit compatible products. This is a way for Apple to be indirectly present, through new products compatible with its ecosystem.
Apple also stood out at the beginning of the year during the event, by posting billboards in the city of Las Vegas emphasizing the importance of protecting privacy.
