Yesterday the famous WWDC keynote took place
2017, during which Apple unveilednumerous
new software and hardware features, like the new iPad Pro or
again the HomePod connected speaker.
The Cupertino company took the opportunity to modify the price list of the
iCloud storage down. The 1 TB option disappears, replaced by the 2 TB option
To for the same price of9,99 €per month. For the other two
options at 50 GB and 200 GB, the price remains unchanged.
Now legacy 1TB users have access to twice as much
of storage space for the same price, and this could also encourage
users to switch to the highest offer.
In iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra, Apple offersshare a
200GB or 2TB iCloud storage with family members, which
can explain this price drop.
Users hoped that the envelope of the 5 GB offered would be
increased, but this is not the case, it remains unchanged and insufficient to
from the moment there are quite a few photos and videos stored in the
cloud.
Fortunately there are alternatives to save your iCloud plan,
for example by saving photos and videos on Google Photos,
available here on the App Store, which offers storage space without
limits.
