We told you about itin this
article, the messaging service ofBlackBerry,BlackBerry Messenger (BBM),
would beavailable this summeron iOS and Android.
Things are progressing sinceBlackBerrycome
to launch the testing phase of its service on iOS with invitations sent
to a small number of users registered on the
site BlackBerry Beta Zone.
BBM is a proprietary messaging solution for devices
BlackBerry which requires the use of a PIN code, a number
identification of eight unique hexadecimal characters assigned to each
device.
This is a big change in policy for the Canadian firm which,
seeing its sales continue to collapse, will offer its service of
messaging on other platforms.
BlackBerry OS has also managed to obtain screenshots of the
Android version which logically takes over the interface of the BlackBerry system
10.
The iOS version should be quite similar in terms of design and
features.
We will see in the next few months if it was a good choice forBlackBerry…or not.
Any BBM users (or not) interested in this iOS version? Or
is it already too late?
