The
photography has become one of the most common practices with an iPhone,
particularly since the iPhone 4 and its sensor which marked a sacred
leap forward. Apple improved it considerably with the iPhone 4S and its
Full HD sensor competes incredibly well with devices
professionals (non-reflex, of course). The manufacturer seems not to want
stop there if we judge a patent filed last week, concerning
directly the photo performance of the iPhone…
The photo application today allows you to take direct stock of a
single element of the screen by simply pressing your finger on it.
Apple is preparing the “multi focus” for us next, allowing us to take stock
on several areas of the image, which would be a fantastic improvement for
even more precise and artistic renderings (if you learn to play with it). THE
patent filed last Thursday in any case illustrates this functionality: in
pressing several areas of the screen with your finger, the iPhone would automatically
the point above. A problem therefore arises: what happens if the objects
pointed are not at the same distance? Well the iPhone will look for a
“compromise” to obtain the best result possible.
To keep the camera as fast and responsive as ever, this
functionality is going to require a lot of resources. This is why Apple
would therefore add an additional processor dedicated (in part?) to this
functionality.
The patents filed by Apple at this precise and credible point are
generally excellent indications as to the program that awaits us for
the next generation of iPhone. The iPhone 5 (or 6?) is still expected
turning point for next October…
