Several apps affected
According to the Internet user who shared this post, the problem is recurring because it does not only concern one platform but much more. The bug could in fact be reproduced via various streaming providers: Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+. We do not know, however, if TV+ is also affected. Cupertino's streaming offer is installed as standard on Apple TV via its eponymous app, which is also found on iPhone, Mac, iPod touch and iPad.
The developer does not seem to have taken the time to deploy a patch, at least at the time of publishing these lines. However, it is not rare for the latter to undertake this work fairly quickly, as soon as a major incident is reported. Since it could be reproduced byAppleInsider, it is even possible that a patch is already on the way.
Soon tvOS 15
While preparing for the update, it is likely thatthe date of the Worldwide Developer Conference in June draws closer. It is on this occasion that the new version of tvOS should be made official, at the same time as iPadOS 15 and iOS 15. The day of deployment for the general public, for its part, remains unknown but should first be preceded by a beta testing period of a few weeks.
