Those who were already playing on PC and consoles
late 90s undoubtedly remember
Carmageddon, a car game revolutionizing the genre through
possibility of running over as many pedestrians as desired. Obviously, the
game had caused a lot of controversy, especially since it was quite successful and
fun: everything to make it cult and annoy Catholics even more
anti-video game fundamentalists. Like many of his “classic” colleagues
of the time, Carmageddon is coming to iOS very soon…
Because yes, running over pedestrians was a first in a game at the time
video, and Gran Theft Auto, the first of its name, would democratize this concept
a few months later. Made in 3D, equipped with crazy vehicles and a
very acid black humor, Carmageddon is therefore announced for this summer on iPhone and
iPad in the form of a universal application. The game should be
compatible with the oldest machines given its fairly 3D
primary (but not lacking in charm).
If the precise release date this summer is not yet known, it will be necessary
watch for it: Carmageddon will be free for 24 hours! We
keep informed, of course...
