When CES 2025 is also a cabinet of curiosities

CES is currently taking place in Las Vegas. Precisely, it started on January 7 and lasts until the 13th of the month. It is an opportunity for brands to present their new products, and for the general public to discover what the future could hold for us in terms of new technologies.

To follow the event every year since the beginnings of iPhon.fr, believe us, the CES is also the mass of the unusual, with some proposals that are surprising to say the least, sometimes even too ambitious, or even really out of step with potential public expectations. Here are 6 products that we saw at CES and which fit perfectly into this framework.

The solar hat

Ecoflow, specialist in batteries and charging systems for the home (solar panels, portable batteries, etc.), has lifted the veil on a strange hat. This is a headgear… solar!Sold for €99, in two sizes M or L, it comes equipped with photovoltaic cells capturing sunlight to transform it into energy. Thanks to two integrated USB ports, you can recharge your iPhone and at the same time stay protected from UV rays…

The luminous mask

At Nanoleaf, they are obviously fans of the 1994 film The Mask. Indeed, their latest proposal is reminiscent of the accessory that transforms Jim Carrey into a totally saucy clown. The Nanoleaf mask is actually a skin and facial care accessory. Thanks to the integrated LEDs, it helps with skin problems (acne, blemishes, etc.). Count150 $all the same while availability in France is currently unknown.

The vacuum cleaner with articulated arm

Roborock is the benchmark brand for robot vacuum cleaners. But its latest addition, the Saros Z70, raises questions. It is equipped with an articulated arm capable of moving objects in front of it. Funny look for what looks like a mix between an extra-terrestrial saucer and a crab. It is also difficult to believe in any real usefulness, especially since, according to initial feedback, the movements of this arm are exceptionally slow.

Connected accessories for animals

Birdfyis a brand specializing in cameras for bird watching (yes, it's niche). Its new product is called Birdfy Feeder 2 Duo. Basically, it's a bird feeder platform equipped with two cameras. Connected to the iPhone, everything is sold360 €. An accessory for a true enthusiast!
