Test of Dodocol's mini iPhone and iPad lighting keychain charging cable (and promo code)

While
Apple's next iPhones could be the first to experience the
wireless charging, current and older models still need to be
plug into a power supply to recharge. And in case of lack of energy,
the charging cable, which comes in a variety of flavors, as seen in
ce
dedicated folder
, can often be one of the most sought after properties in the
maison.

To be prepared for all situations, it may then be interesting to
equip yourself by providing a cable in the car, a cable in the bedroom and a
another in the bag to have with you if needed. And rather than
let it get tangled in a handbag or backpack, Dococol offers something
carry a mini charging cable easily on the key ring or pocket
few :

MFi certified, 155 mm long and integrated into a
mini-bag, this cable available in gray or pink could be the fashion ally of
those who fear running out of battery remotely from the
home, work or school. We received it and tested it for a few
days, here are photos, information and verdict.

Dococol makes packaging very simple, a small cardboard pouch
contains the key fob, accompanied by a tiny instruction manual for
some practical instructions, manual that many will leave aside being
given the simplicity of the product.

Received in a gray version, the key ring comes in three parts: a
large gold-colored ring, with carabiner type grip to hang it wherever you
wants, a pouch in a material resembling leather, apparently in
in any case, and the rather short charging cable, with Lightning socket on one side
and USB socket on the other.

These two sockets are made of rigid plastic. It looks solid.

Note that the USB socket seems quite classic, it is thin, does not
protruding only slightly around the metal which allows it to plug in a little
anywhere, especially on MacBooks and other USB hubs where the sockets
can be very close together.

On the Lightning socket side, it is also rather thin, the socket snaps into place
quite hard way in the receiver on the iPhone or iPad side, which is a good sign.
None of the different shells tested prevent the Dodocol socket from plugging in
correctly in the iOS device. She's actually a little bit more
larger than the official Apple cable plug.

Finally, the cable itself can be taken out of the small bag very
simply. We can also notice that the whole thing seems quite good
quality, bag, ring and cable included. The latter is braided and is quite
rigid.

Finally, the bag perfectly fulfills its role of protecting
connectors, if you take care to store them properly inside when
we do not use the cable, especially in contact with keys, scratches
can be done on the USB and Lightning sockets, which will not necessarily be
very appreciable.

In the end, this cable fulfills its contract perfectly, provided that its
style pleases, with its gray or pink colors and its golden ring all in all
quite bright.

The cable is of sufficient quality, as is the pouch, which allows you to
carry everything without too much fear, attached to the keys or in the bag. There
The rigidity of the cable also prevents it from tangling, which is a good point.
The whole thing is well built, charging takes place without problem and the
MFi certification is reassuring. Once again, only his style could
scare some away… or attract others!
