Apple Music
arrived yesterday late afternoon at the same time as the new version
of iOS. Its main strength compared to competitors such as Deezer or
Spotify is to be installed by default on the iPhone.
But some will undoubtedly want to do without Apple Music to find
the app as they knew it before with just the songs
that they love and offered themselves. For those, here is the procedure
follow :
Good news Apple has provided a way to make Apple Music disappear from
the iPhone or iPad to find the Music app. For this, there is a
simple switch to deactivate.
To find it, go again to the iPhone settings
looking, this time, for the music section. There is a
'show Apple Music' switch that just needs to be turned off.
Back in the Music app, here's what you should find. From 5
tabs, the app has returned to 4. 'For you' and 'New items' have disappeared. HAS
instead, 'My music' takes over on the right of the screen, immediately
followed by Playlists. Only signs of Apple Music remaining, the 'Connect' tabs
and 'Radio' which remain accessible even to those who do not have an Apple account
Music.
This is a very simple and practical tip for those who do not
would not want to use Apple Music or who will choose to part with it once
the 3 free months have passed.
