Last year, Apple announced a major new feature regarding the confidentiality of its tablets. The problem is that devices released before this date are not eligible for this solution. Since then, many disappointed users have reported their complaints on the brand's forums. Which iPads are affected?
Communicated by Apple, here is the list of iPads which are entitled to this “hardware” update:
- Eighth generation iPad (classic)
- Fourth generation iPad Air
- Second-generation iPad Pro with 11-inch screen
- Fourth-generation iPad Pro with 12.9-inch screen
The manufacturer has unfortunately not specified whether previously released models will also be entitled to physical disconnection of the microphone. Let us also point out that for your iPad to be eligible, you must also use coverSmart Folio, according to the manufacturer. They are available for most iPad sizes.
