Among
THEmany changesbrought by the third beta of iOS 10, there is
a new feature that willallow iPhone to detect
if there is water in the Lightning jacketprevent
the userof potential danger.
A Reddit user made this discovery and posted the images of
this one on Imgur, an image sharing site. When the system detects water
in the Lightning socket, the user sees the following message displayed on
the iPhone screen.
"Unplug the Lightning accessory. Liquid has been detected in the socket
Lightning. To protect your iPhone, disconnect the Lightning accessory and
let the socket dry."
The user has the choice to ignore the warning, however the system
warns that this act risks causing irreparable damage to
l’iPhone.
Better waterproofing of the iPhone 6s was noted after several
user testing and several rumors reported
recently that Apple would work to improve the water resistance of the iPhone
7 thanks in particular to the removal of the headphone jack.
