The specialists at iFixit are hard at work at the moment. The period is favorable for the release of new smartphones. Recently, the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro appeared on the market. Without delay, iFixit rushed to obtain a copy of each new model, 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, to show us their interior.Yesterday the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max revealed their componentsand in particular a new connector at the battery level.
Today, it’s the turn of the cheapest iPhone 11 to go on the operating table.
iFixit noticed on this subject that the components and their arrangement in the iPhone 11 case closely resemble what they found last year when disassembling the iPhone XR. This is no real surprise, the iPhone 11 being the descendant of the iPhone XR, with some features taken from the iPhone X.

The iPhone 11 therefore logically integrates elements of its predecessor and some new features. There is notably a photo module with two sensors and a 3,110 mAh battery. That's 7% more mAh compared to the iPhone XR's battery. Apple indicates in this regard that the new model should last almost an hour longer than the iPhone XR in many tasks.

Notable point, iFixit did not detect a second connector on the battery as seen on the iPhone 11 Pro. The latter initially thought to underpin bi-directional charging would rather be intended for intelligent battery management technology. Still, the iPhone 11 does not have one.
In the end, the device obtained a repairability score of 6/10, the same as the iPhone XR.
