Almost a year ago now, Apple formalized via a simple press release thesecond generation of its iPhone SE. Without much surprise, because preceded by multiple rumors, but with immediate success according to the estimates of many analyst firms. The device is designed with the same shell as that of the iPhone 8, guaranteeing a reduced format that appeals to small hands.
But the iPhone 8 was also entitled to a large edition, soberly callediPhone 8 Plus. So much so that some hoped that its manufacturer would offer a similar version for the iPhone SE, which ultimately was not the case. A hypothesis that gave the idea to the YouTube channelthe Hacker 34to create a concept based on such characteristics, as can be seen in less than a minute below.
Technical details
Equipped with a notch like the high-end models, this iPhone SE Plus is shown here in three different colors: red, white and black. The creator specifies that the phone has a Liquid Retina screen with a diagonal of6.1 inches, equipped with True Tone technology but also Haptic Touch feedback for a resolution of 1,792 x 828 pixels (or 326 ppi).
The camera, for its part, relies on a twelve-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical stabilization on the program. What changes, however, is the arrival ofTouch ID fingerprint sensor, located here on the edge of the mobile. What's planned at Apple?
For its part, it is highly unlikely that Apple will unveil such a smartphone this year: no rumors on this subject have leaked at the moment. Just some experts in the field assume that the brand will renew its iPhone SE but in2022, which therefore leaves a lot of room to develop it.
By then, perhaps Cupertino will unify its range by also moving the SE to the straighter edges found on the iPad Pro orthe different iPhone 12 Pro models. But these are still just guesses.
