The iPhone 17 Pro could be equipped with aproprietary Wi-Fi modem, according to new information coming straight from analyst Jeff Pu. The latter here echoes other rumors, according to which Applewould also prepare an in-house 5G chipfor their smartphones.
At the same time, we have justlearnthat the telephoto lens of the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be equipped with a definition offorty-eight megapixels. This is currently reserved for wide-angle, on the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Better performance for mobile data?
As a reminder, when Apple presented its first proprietary processors to the general public at the end of 2020, following the end of its historic collaboration with the American founder Intel, critics praised this new feature. High-level power has always been there, especially since the arrival of the M3, M3 and M3 Max chips recently. These motherboards are available on the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, whose technical sheet also gives pride of place to a Full HD FaceTime camera and at least eight gigabytes of RAM. 48 megapixels: new standard at Apple
The move to forty-eight megapixels, for its part, will certainly guarantee even more qualitative shots from very far away than ever before. Indeed, the greater the number of pixels, the less grain is present on the photo and the more it is possible tozoom without loss of quality after capturing the image.
Let us remember, however, that the quantity of pixels is clearly not the only criterion to take into account for successful photos, particularly among professionals who do not hesitate to qualify this unit as vanity metric.
