This is probably THE most notable specificity ofiPhone 14 Pro: the Dynamic Island, a more discreet feature which replaces the protruding notch of previous models, ultimately appears as a small design masterpiece. In any case, this is what the tests of Apple's new high-end mobile seem to demonstrate so far.
Indeed, even thoughthe clipping of the camera caused a lot of problems when it arrived on MacBook Pro, the integration with iOS works wonderfully here. This is demonstrated by the screenshots, which only show the little pill when it displays information. The only small downside, which doesn't really seem very useful to us: this is also the case when it comes to simply warning thatthe microphone or front sensor is engaged with a colored dot.
When does the Dynamic Island show up?
The Dynamic Island will therefore be displayed on the screenshots in several cases. First of all, know that this element of the interface will come to life when you start a playlist, when you receive aappelor even connect a pair of AirPods Pro 2 to your iPhone 14 Pro. On its site, Apple also explains that the Dynamic Island indicates the charging of the mobile, the successful reception of a file via AirDrop or even the locking of the device.
Of course, you should know that the Dynamic Island is also open tothird party developers. The little pill is already supported by apps such as WhatsApp or Instagram for conversations, Amazon Music and Spotify for streaming or eventhis little independent and very original game.
What happens when the Dynamic Island is not used
If now you realize ascreenshotwithout the Dynamic Island animating or becoming colored, it will therefore not appear in the image. Instead, the background of the app currently in use will be displayed by iOS. Similar behavior to the notch on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus or the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.
