This Friday, Apple carried out the biggest expansion of its platform with the arrival of 30 new games, for everyone's enjoyment. Between several exclusives and the integration of multiple App Store classics, this new batch of games is welcome.
From now on,Apple Arcade has 180 games. As a new star, publisher 2K, behind the very popular NBA 2K basketball video game series, is adding a special edition« NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition ». On iPhone, iPad, Mac or even Apple TV, Apple Arcade subscribers will have new things to discover.
Apple Arcade: what's new
The editor ofNBA 2K21has therefore launched a new version of its game on console, and therefore promises“an all-new graphics engine that delivers the highest possible gaming resolution ever experienced on Apple devices.”Note also that the game will not have any link with the classic edition. In other words, neither your console progress nor multiplayer mode will be synchronized withNBA 2K21classic.
Among the other exclusives presented on Friday, there is the last part ofThe Oregon Trail, as well asThe Fantasian(by the creators ofFinal Fantasy) and a musical quiz game for fun with others:SongPop Party.Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker,Star Trek: Legendsare also part of the list, out of a total of 11 new exclusive games.
For the rest, the batch of new features from Apple Arcade includes a whole set of classics from theApp Store, among the most popular games of recent years on iPhone and iPad, such asFruit Ninja, Monument Valley(first edition),Threes, or evenMini Metro.
Customers will thus be able to access their favorite games without advertising, where the App Store required a premium subscription to be able to enjoy the games without interruption.
