Withother rumors regarding Macs, Mark Gurman has just shared his predictions about Apple's future flexible screen. The editor therefore believes that the firm is not yet ready to launch a smartphone equipped with this technology, although other brands such as Samsung have already moved ahead. Several reasons could explain this strategic choice.
First of all, the cost: we know that if the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip do not sell as well as their rectilinear counterparts in Europe, it is above all because of their unit price. Second explanation: the guarantee of confidence provided by Apple to its users, the latter being accustomed to relatively stable products. The democratization of an innovation is therefore always safer for end consumers.
A prototype already created
According to Gurman, Apple has already released a more or less functional foldable iPhone model from the factory. However, its images have not yet leaked from a reliable source, so the mystery about the design remains unsolved. Will we once again be entitled to a notch?
