launch community WIFI in France in 2007, and will soon allow its
subscribers to switch from the 3G+ network to Wifi via their hotspots in a way
automatic, seamless and transparent for
the user.
This service, theAuto-Connect
Wifi, has just undergone 6 months of large-scale testing in three
departments of the South of France and will now be deployed at the level
national :
At the same time,SFRhas just renewed its
exclusive partnership with Fon, one of the largest WIFI communities in the
monde.
With this agreement, plus a strengthening of its WIFI presence as, for example
example, in Ile-de-France with a pilot operation to benefit
its customers access to hotspots in metro and RER stations, operated by
Naxos, SFR will therefore be able to offer its service "SFR Auto Connect
WiFi"fromJune 2012.
This service will initially be offered to allmobile subscribers
SFRwith an iPhone oriPadwith theiOS
5 d’Appleinstalled, then will be gradually launched
on other terminal models as soon as they meet the criteria
customer experience required by SFR.
