Study: our consumption of mobile 'data' currently and... in 4 years

With more and more smartphones
efficient and a network that is also ever faster, the consumption of
data explodes.

If we are to believe the research and forecasts made by Cisco the trend
should continue and even increase in the years to come.

Indeed,the world averagecurrently established at
only200 MB per monthcouldreach 2
Go
in just 4 years:

It is in the US that the increase should be the strongest. Currently,
the average smartphone user consumes 752 MB per month. In 2017, it is
say in 4 short years, average monthly consumption should
reach 6 GB
.

The increase should be on the agenda in all regions of the
world and particularly in Asia which could go from 136 MB today to
1.75GB and should represent no less than 47.1% of global traffic.

The study explains that today only 1% of traffic is done in 4G. From here
by 2017, 10% of connections should go through 4G, representing 45% of the
traffic.

The arrival of new, ever faster models will therefore not be
without consequences
on data consumption and the question that arises
pose is the ability of operators to follow this increase almost
exponential.

Answer in the coming years!

But in fact, how much do you consume each month
?
