The Pokémon license is on the rise at the moment, thanks among other things to the success of Pokémon GO, or the recent film, Detective Pikachu, which has been well received by the public.
The Pokemon Company just madeseveral announcementsduring a press conference. On the menu: anew mobile game coming, andPokémon trading service, but also anew accessory.
The Pokemon Company travaillein partnership with DeNAon a new mobile game calledPokémon Masters. This title will bring together several known trainers from the history of the Pokémon license. He shouldreleased before the end of the year on iOSet Android.
Another interesting announcement concerns acloud service for trading Pokémon between players. This service is calledPokémon HOME. It allows totransfer and store in one placePokémon captured in various games.
It is then possible to trade these Pokémon with other players. It works withSwitch games, Nintendo 3DS, as well as Pokémon GOon smartphone. The service should belaunched in early 2020.
Finally the Pokémon Company has announced another rather curious mobile game,Pokémon Sleep. This one will follow thesleep duration and wake-up timeof the user and aims toturn sleep into play.
Sleep monitoring will be carried out with a new accessory, thePokémon Plus+, connected to the app. Simply place it on the bed to track various sleep-related statistics. Pokemon Sleep should launchin 2020.
