The Apple Arcade catalog has grown significantly in 2023, with several dozen new games published regularly since last January. Generally speaking, we judge all of these new releases very positively.
As with Apple TV+, Apple seems to want tofocus on qualityrather than quantity. And it pays off in the long term! Because if criticism of a reduced catalog could be heard a few years ago, now, it must be said, the service has real arguments to put forward.

TMNT Splintered Fate
Control the 4 most famous turtles on the planet and try to find their master Splinter, in this superb mobile adaptation of the Ninja Turtles universe. The action is omnipresent, the fights frequent, the pace sustained. In addition, we benefit from this very appreciable comic book graphic style. In short, an excellent hack-and-slash game, easy to learn and above all very gripping.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure
This is a title that has not made fun of the license it has taken. In the world of Hello Kitty, therefore, you can control different heroes and carry out numerous tasks, mini-games, discovery, exploration, cooking, creation of tools, etc. Everything is perfectly staged, including superb graphics. An attractive game for Hello Kitty fans, but also and above all more widely.
NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition
Football has its flagship game FIFA, for basketball, it's NBA 2K. This year, version 24 was exclusively available on Apple Arcade... A nice move from Apple, with this reference title which must certainly have attracted a good number of new subscribers. Indeed, NBA 2K24 shines with high-level production, rich and complete content and gameplay perfectly in place for tactile controls. If you like basketball, this is a must-have. Otherwise, give it a try anyway!
Football Manager 2024 Touch
We all want to become the next Will Still, by training on the Football Manager game to manage a club, and by becoming one of the most promising coaches in Ligue 1. So you have plenty to do on Apple Arcade with FM version 2024 Touch. Advanced management of players, training, staff, finances... FM 2024 Touch is realistic, hyperrealistic, almost too much, some would say. But that’s what makes it so charming and so successful.
Cut the Rope 3
If you don't know the Cut the Rope series, either you were born after 2010 or you're not really interested in video games. Because the Cut the Rope games are some of the best gems in the history of the App Store. Another great move on Apple's part to have managed to keep this new opus. There we find the very voracious little green beasts and numerous ropes to cut in the right places to satisfy everyone. Use logic, patience and skill to succeed in this superb title intended for the whole family (even if a little difficult for younger players).
Junkworld TD
Ironhide is a development studio that has created several of the best tower defense games on mobile, “Kingdom Rush”. They are at the helm of Junkworld TD, this Apple Arcade exclusive, in which we find everything that makes other titles of the same genre from the studio successful: terrain to protect, numerous turrets to place in the right places, numerous improvements of its defenses and the use of special skills and heroes to turn the tide throughout the fights. 88 levels are included in this excellent tactics game, as simple to learn as it is complex to master.
Cypher 007
In the same vein as the superb Space Marshals, Cypher 007 is a very striking action adventure game. You play as a certain James Bond and have different secret agent missions to carry out in the game: espionage, elimination and/or exfiltration of targets, theft of documents, etc. Take advantage of numerous gadgets and special equipment to help you during your adventures. The fun is of course largely there, with a small dose of stress to manage during delicate passages. In any case, we really liked this title, which we find frankly flawless: 20/20 in fact!
Japanese Rural Life Adventure
Live your life in the Japanese countryside, go chop wood, fish, garden, cook, chat with your neighbors, etc. In short, a whole bunch of simple actions to carry out in a magnificent colorful setting, all without the pressure of scores, time or even fierce enemies... This title is clearly in our top 3 of the best games of 2023, don't advising you would be our biggest mistake. Attention, fans of action and explosions, move on.
Sonic Dream Team
Find the blue hedgehog in a new adventure full of surprises. Accompany Tails, Knucles or Amy and Sticks and form the best team capable of stopping the famous Dr. Eggman in his evil actions. The atmosphere here is faithful to the most popular games in the series, with music that's still catchy, numerous rings to collect and levels that fly by at breakneck speed. One of the best Sonic games, period.
