Europe marks the end of roaming: dates and changes to expect!

Those who
who travel regularly know very well what roaming is. Without going too deep
in detail it concerns the fact, for a customer, of using another network
than that of its operator.

If this network 'loan' is technically possible, it is often quite
expensive. In the past, the European Commission had started toframe
the costs
causing them to decline little by little year after year. Home
learned today that by June 2017, the additional costs linked to roaming should
simply disappear:

Concretely, this means that from June 15, 2017, it will be possible
to use your phone from anywhere in Europe while paying the same price
than at home. The minutes and data used will simply be deducted from the
package whether you are in France or abroad.

Be careful, however, to avoid abuse, between now and the deadline, the commission
European Union will have set a limit beyond which operators will be able to
again apply a supplement. This measure aims above all to prevent
users come to get a SIM card in a country where the offers are
inexpensive for permanent use at home.

Until then, roaming prices will remain what they aresince June
2014
and will drop one last time in June 2016 to reach a
supplement of €0.05 per telephone minute, €0.02 per SMS and €0.05 per
Mo.

This is good news!
