Fortnite now runs at 120 FPS on the iPad Pro 2018

The iOS version of the world's most popular game,Fortnite, landed in 2018 on iPhone and iPad. This game alone has completely changed the game for publisher Epic Games, because it generates monster revenue. The iOS game quickly gained popularity to become one of the most played mobile games.

Epic Games has just released a new update which now allows the game to run at 120 frames per second on iPad Pro. This only affects iPad Pro 2018 models equipped with the A12X chip.

This gives the game great fluidity, and can also be an advantage for players with a compatible iPad Pro, particularly when playing against players with a less efficient machine.

Currently, even the latest iPhones are limited to 60 FPS, which is already very good, we imagine that the Promotion technology of the iPad Pro is necessary to climb to 120 FPS. To switch to 120 FPS, simply go to the game settings.

The new Fortnite update also improves controller gameplay, adding support for joystick buttons on compatible controllers on iOS 13.
