Samsung is preparing a Galaxy S10e, its answer to the iPhone XR with which it shares a certain resemblance

On February 20, Samsung has plannedan “Unpacked” eventduring which, among other things, several new smartphones from the Galaxy S10 range should be unveiled.

Among the new models, there would notably be a mid-range model, theGalaxy S10e. It would be a direct competitor to the iPhone XR. Two weeks before the Samsung event, this modeljust leaked images.

The German siteWinfuture.de, known for its Samsung leaks has just published images of what this Galaxy S10e would be. This would be released alongside other more expensive models, including the S10+.

The Galaxy S10e would bethe cheapest of the new smartphones from the Korean firm. It would therefore be positioned like the iPhone XR among the latest iPhone models.

It would integrate a5.8-inch flat OLED display, with fairly pronounced borders on both sides. The notch would be missing and replacedthrough a holein the upper right corner of the screen, for the front camera.

We can also mention afingerprint sensor integrated into the Power button, located on the edge of the device. On the back, it would feature adual photo sensor.

Comparatively, the other new high-end models would have a screen with curved edges, an under-screen fingerprint sensor and a triple photo sensor on the back.

According to the latest rumors, all upcoming Galaxy S10 models would be equipped with the same Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage space, with possible expansion via microSD card.
